RID 2023

The eska-RID dangerous goods data contains all the general information from Table A in Chapter 3.2 of RID (Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail), which you will also find in ADR and ADN. In addition, this data also contains the special requirements of the RID, such as express goods, special hazard identification placards (labels) and the RID special provisions. The NHM codes from Table B are also assigned in a separate data field to the individual RID dangerous goods data records. Here you will find all the dangerous goods information you need for the International Rail Consignment Note (CIM), as well as all the information required by VDA Recommendation 4933. We provide you with this information optimised for your system.

In our eska-RID hazardous substances data, for example, we have removed the lower-case components of the "Name and description" column of Table A in a separate data field. Your advantage: This allows you to insert the official name in capital letters directly in your transport document. If required, we can also supply you with these official names in many other languages of the RID contracting states.

In addition to the data in Table A, the eska-RID dangerous goods data contains further useful information. For example, we provide you with the multiplication factor to calculate the percentage of allowance per RID dangerous goods data record in accordance with RID Chapter 1.1.3.6.4. This allows you to easily determine in your system the allowed maximum quantities of substances and articles per wagon or large container according to their transport category (as per the 1000-point system).
